  • Covid-19 Restrictions

The health and safety of our staff, members and guests remains our highest priority. As such we will continue to put processes in place to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience when visiting the Club. Presently, Club Blacktown, as are all clubs, are required to abide by the conditions of entry stipulated by the NSW Government these include:

  • Only fully vaccinated or medically exempted adults can enter the Club. If you have not been vaccinated or only had 1 shot, unfortunately you cannot enter any hospitality venue including a Club, hotel or restaurant.
  • Masks will be mandatory indoors for all those aged above 12 years old
  • Capacity limits for all areas of the Club

From the 15th December 2021, the following conditions are expected to ease:

  • Masks will not be mandatory indoors
  • There will be no capacity limits in any area of the Club

In order to ensure your continued safety when visiting the Club, we have made the decision to extend our mandatory vaccination entry policy past the 15th December 2021 and into the new year.

This means that all Members, guests, staff and contractors will have to continue to show proof of double vaccination, or an approved medical exemption to enter the Club.

This policy will be reviewed monthly, and any updates will be made available on our website and social media pages.

How You Can Prepare

There are a number of ways you can prepare your Proof of Vaccination or medical exemption in order to visit the Club.  It is important that you have your COVID-19 Digital Certificate or Immunisation history statement ready on your phone, your services NSW App linked to your vaccination status, or a printed and legible hard copy of your immunisation history/vaccination certificate. If you are medically exempt we need to see the approved medical contraindication certificate as picture below in order to enter the Club.

How you can access your proof of vaccination

Login to myGov and click on Proof of Vaccination through Medicare
Download the Express Plus Medicare mobile app and login to view your vaccination certificate
Link your Vaccination certificate to your Services NSW app.

What to do if you don’t have a smart phone

You can ask your vaccination provider to print your immunisation history statement or login to your myGov account on a computer and print your certificate out.

Alternatively call the Australian Immunisation Register on 1800 653 809 and ask them to send your statement to you. It can take up to 14 days to arrive in the post.

What if I can’t get vaccinated?

As per the Public Health Order those who are medically exempt from receiving the vaccine are permitted to enter the Club if they obtain a “contraindication certificate” from NSW health. We recommend contacting your GP for more information.

Please note that only the official NSW Health Department issued form will be accepted as a medical exemption as per the NSW Government guidelines. A note from your doctor is unfortunately not compliant.

We would ask you to please understand we have not made the rules, and it will take a bit more time for your initial entry into the club so please be understanding and patient. If you do not meet the conditions of entry as above, unfortunately we cannot let you enter the Club.
